Bob Bernard

Background & Family Life

Bob Bernard is from the picturesque state of Minnesota, where he and his wife, Rachelle, have built a loving family over their more than 20 years of marriage. Together, they have three sons, each with unique interests and talents. Their oldest son is currently in college in Minnesota, pursuing his academic dreams. Their middle son is a competitive billiards player, eagerly anticipating his entry into the professional pool culture in Dallas. The youngest son is passionate about baseball, and Bob and Rachelle cherish every moment spent supporting their children in their respective activities.

As a family, the Bernards value their time together, whether it’s attending sports events, cheering from the sidelines, or simply enjoying each other’s company. They have recently embarked on a new chapter, moving from Minnesota to Plano, Texas, where they look forward to new adventures and opportunities.

“Bob finds fulfillment in serving his clients with the same dedication and care, using his wealth of experience to help them navigate their journeys on their unique path toward financial peace of mind.”

Business Philosophy

Bob Bernard’s journey into the financial services industry was profoundly influenced by personal experiences. After spending the first 14 years of his career as a minister, he witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of insufficient financial planning when his father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer shortly after his 64th birthday. His father passed away 83 days later, leaving Bob’s mother under Bob and his family’s care. This personal tragedy compelled Bob to enter the financial services sector, driven by a desire to help others avoid similar hardships.

Bob frequently hears his clients express concerns about not wanting to be a burden to their children, and he deeply empathizes with their worries. Transitioning from church work to financial planning, he believes that financial planning is noble work, essential to maintaining healthy relationships and financial stability, which he considers part of the big three in life.
